Uhhh wtf, any doctors?

So I used to have problems staying asleep and getting asleep at night, and ANY noise would wake me up, whether it be the dog snoring, the boyfriend snoring, or someone turning the television on upstairs. I started wearing ear plugs at night and it's been working GREAT. After going to california, I got wiped out by a wave at the surf and got a ton of water in my ears, and ever since my left ear has been KILLING ME!

Not all the time, like if I pull on my ear lobe, or when I'm taking my ear plugs out in the morning. I'm wearing ear phones right now because I don't want to bother anyone listening to music, and just the light weight on my ear is causing this sharp pain when I move. I don't know if it has to do with the water that I got in my ear, or the fact that I've been sleeping with ear plugs for a month or two every night. =/ Halp.

hmmm maybe the water stood there and caused an infection dunnolol? My coucins ALWAYS had that problem when we went to the beach. Though when it wasnt so serious, my mom used to put a wet/hot cloth beside the ear and lay down on that side, for the sea water to come out o:

But if your ear keeps annoying you, I think you should call a doctor or something

Don't worry, be happy~

hm.. it might be because you had salt water in your ear and it gave you an ear infection and since wearing ear plugs doesnt allow any air in you ear, the water never dried up?

and yay icons!
and thanks for advertising for me again <D
:iconfluffychic:
Yeah, I'm thinking it would have come out by now when I'm sleeping, but I sleep with ear plugs so it can't.. and it can't air out that way =/ so I'm sure I'm making it worse.

Wow a doctor.. I haven't seen a doctor in yeeaarrss lol
:iconfluffychic:
Yeah D8 that's what I'm thinking. Laaammee. I love sleeping with my ear plugs too.. maybe I should find some new ones or something.

Then maybe it's time to GTF to one?

Reading your symptoms, yeah I'd have to say it's an ear infection, just go to the doctor, should get taken care of easily.

Seriously. GET THE FUCK TO A DOCTOR.

yeah, like what everyone else's been saying XD It's most likely an ear infection. All I can say is either go to the doctor or sleep without your ear plugs for a while D: maybe run a fan or a dehumidifier or something else with a constant, undisturbed hum (I personally LOVE fans and the AC) that might drown out the bumps in the night. OR instead of ear plugs or a noise that might keep you up, try some sleeping pills for a couple days. I'm HORRIBLE for staying asleep at night and Mommy cat gets into EVERYTHING x0x I'm going to start locking her in a cage at nigh >( damn cats only sleep during the day...

Yeah, I have sleeping pills, but I have to take two an hour or two before I plan on going to sleep or they're just making it hard for me to get up in the morning.

If you don't want to go to the doctor I'd suggest trying that for a few days. I don't have the ability to go to a doctor so I would do that for a few days xD
